Add your message to the Powell Spirit Rock and help support the PTA! Send a special wish for your child’s birthday or a special milestone; share a thank you with our teachers and staff, or create some art for good vibes for everyone!

2024-25 RENTALS OPEN 8/22 @ 9 AM

  • Rental cost is $35; all proceeds go to the PTA.

  • Rental runs one week, Friday 4pm ET to Friday 4pm ET and includes only the front of the rock.

  • Renters are responsible for their own paint/brushes/materials. We recommend acrylic paint. Spray paint or primer is best for a base coat and to cover the previous rental.

  • Rental is confirmed on payment; rentals are first come, first served.

  • Spirit Rock paintings must be in accordance with the Wake County Schools Code of Conduct (no bullying, no profanity, obscenity, or derogatory language), and may not promote political messages or commercial ads. If a painting is deemed offensive, commercial, or political in nature, it will be immediately removed, your money will not be refunded and you will lose the privilege of reserving the Spirit Rock again in the future. The group or individual painting the Spirit Rock assumes liability for any individual who may be injured and/or for actions associated with the activity and will hold the school and PTA harmless from the same. The PTA reserves the right to remove any inappropriate art or messaging, and to block out certain dates for school or PTA use.
